Why oh why is this summer flying by? I hope you’ve been able to balance work, kids and home while getting outside for some fun and sun!
For the last few months, we’ve seen a huge shift from the business office to the home office. Many of my clients are working from home and for many it was under rushed circumstances to set up an organized, or not so organized, home office quickly. Some clients already had a desk but it was covered with clutter and they couldn’t incorporate the supplies they brought home from the business office. Other clients have found that they are now working at home with their spouse and forced to share space. And other clients will now be working while their children are home from school or homeschooling in the fall.
Having employees working from home during Covid-19 is showing us the benefits of having people work from the comfort of their own home, fewer interruptions, no commute which in turn saves time and helps with traffic and the environment. I believe more and more companies will embrace having employees work from home long-term or permanently. This can save companies money with a smaller footprint and lease by utilizing a smaller office space.
It can be really difficult to work when you can’t focus while feeling surrounded by paper, piles and supplies. I can help you set up your home office, create systems and share productivity strategies to get the most out of your time, I’d love to help you. I’m even hoping companies will see the value of paying for organizing services for their teams. It doesn’t hurt to ask!
If you have any questions about how I can help you virtually or in person with productivity issues or setting up a home office, I’d be happy to chat!
